Unofficial Android L port lands for HTC One

Owners of older HTC One handsets now have an unofficial Android L buildAndroid L is still some months away from being officially available, but the preview release has given developers enough to port the firmware to HTC's One M7.
Google only released its preview Android L firmware for the Nexus 5 and latest Nexus 7 at the start of the month, but within days developers had built ports extending what was available inthe preview to the Nexus 4 and older Nexus 7 models.

In her post she also mentioned that she missed her daughters like crazy as she is in Nigeria right now, but the girls are in safe hands with her former husband.

Justin Bieber pleads no contest in egging case, gets probation

The White House won't comment on a petition signed by more than 270,000 people asking for Justin Bieber to be deported for his alleged crimes. In January, Bieber was charged with driving under the influence in Miami and he also has a pending assault charge and separate vandalism charges for egging his neighbor's house. It's just the latest development in a series of troubles for the pop star.Justin Bieber must pay $80,900 restitution for damage caused to his former neighbor's mansion by eggs he threw.The pop star accepted a plea deal to settle a vandalism charge that puts him on probation for two years. The probation will be supervised until he completes 12 weekly anger management sessions, works five days of community labor and pays the restitution.

LeBron James to Return to Cleveland Cavaliers, Leaving Miami Heat

LAS VEGAS — Four years after he bolted from Cleveland to Miami in pursuit of the N.B.A. championships that had eluded him, LeBron James is returning home.
At age 29 and with two N.B.A. titles now in his possession, James decided Friday to rejoin the Cavaliers, for whom he played in the first seven seasons of his storied professional career.

Eight months after the death of star Paul Walker put the breaks on production, "Fast & Furious 7" has finally finished the reshoots required to adjust the blockbuster after the tragedy, according to The Wrap.


The long-running franchise eventually resumed production after re-writes and the decision to use Walker’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, in certain shots to complete the actor’s story line. The film staff released a statement yesterday, thanking fans and letting them know they completed the last shot for the film on Thursday.

‘Harry Potter’ actor found dead in ‘remote’ area

DAVE-LEGENO harry potter.jpgBritish actor Dave Legeno, who played a werewolf villain in the “Harry Potter” movies was found dead in a “remote” part of Death Valley, according to a statement released by the Inyo County Sheriff's Department in California.
The 50-year-old actor played Fenrir Greyback in “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” and both “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” films. Legeno was also in "Snatch." “It appears that Legeno died of heat related issues, but the Inyo County Coroner will determine the final cause of death,” the Sheriff’s Department stated. “There are no signs of foul play”
His body was discovered by two hikers.
An agent for Legeno could not immediately be reached for comment.

China Labels iPhone a Security Threat

BEIJING—China's influential state broadcaster on Friday called a location-tracking function offered by Apple Inc. AAPL +0.04% 's iPhone a "national security concern," in the latest sign of a backlash in the country against U.S. technology firms.
In its national noon broadcast, state-run China Central Television criticized the "frequent locations" function in Apple's iOS 7 mobile operating system, which records time and location for the owner's movements. The report quoted researchers who said that those with access to that data could gain knowledge of China's economic situation or "even state secrets."
