Iheanacho urged to join City

Iheanacho: Pushed to join City
The father of Kelechi Iheanacho says he is trying persuade the Nigeria Under-17 star to reconsider joining Manchester City instead of FC Porto.

Iheanacho was included in the Super Eagles' provisional squad for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) but left after a week to conclude talks with the Citizens.
However, the deal with the English outfit was not concluded, with the youngster apparently changing his mind and choosing to go to the Portuguese giants instead.
The forward's father, James Iheanacho, told Brila FM that he was unclear on what exactly had happened, but that he would try to convince his son to join the Manchester outfit.
"I don't know what is really happening, I will find out more about this," Iheanacho Snr told the popular radio station.
"But what I can say for now is that family members too are still pleading with him to sign for Manchester City," he added.
The 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup Golden Ball winner is currently registered with the Taye Academy which is based in the city of Owerri in Imo State.
