Why Jose Mourinho’s comments on Luis Suarez have exposed the Chelsea boss as just a silly hypocrite

Why hypocritical Jose Mourinho just isn't funny anymore
The Chelsea manager waved his arms to gesture more noise from his team’s supporters in stoppage time at Stamford Bridge.
Indeed, Mourinho was so pleased with the victory that he even interrupted a TV interview involving David Luiz and Eden Hazard to hug them.
Now, before anyone accuses me of having red spectacles on I’d like to say that Chelsea deserved the victory against a good Liverpool side.
Yes Brendan Rodgers’s side took an early lead but the Blues turned it round before half-time with goals from Hazard and Samuel Eto’o.
In many ways the game featured a similar pattern to the Manchester City match on Boxing Day which Liverpool also led.
Yet although Chelsea deserved the victory, Liverpool should have had a late penalty when goal scorer Eto’o upended Luis Suarez  in the box right in front of referee Howard Webb.
How the official amazingly saw nothing wrong and waved play on is a mystery to me, but that was his decision and like it or lump it Liverpool have to accept it.Why hypocritical Jose Mourinho just isn't funny anymore
What I don’t have to accept is Mourinho making an even bigger fool of himself than normal.
When asked about the incident after the game he told the interviewer that Suarez should have been shown a yellow card.
He said: ‘Eto’o just put his body in front of him. It looks like somebody shot him.
‘Suarez lost a duel with (Cesar) Azpilicueta and now he’s doing an acrobatic swimming pool jump to try and get the penalty.
‘He’s so clever because he’s in the area where the Liverpool supporters are behind.”
‘But Webb is 10 metres away. And I think the only mistake Webb did was not to give him a yellow card.’
Mourinho’s comments are typical of the man as even the TV pundits Glenn Hoddle, Jamie Carragher and even ex-Manchester United player Gary Neville all agreed that it was a clear penalty.
Mourinho also said: ‘I hate players trying to provoke situations.’
Mourinho is such a hypocrite with his comments, after all he has harboured such schemers as Didier Drogba, Ronaldo and Pepe in the past and encouraged them to use all their talents to help him succeed in management.
His interviews used to be great listening when he first arrived on these shores, but personally I was glad to see him leave as I was getting tired of his nonsense and he is worse than ever since he return to England.
Mourinho just can’t tell it how it is, he thrives on being controversial and doesn’t care who he upsets, but he is losing a lot of admirers with his silly talk.
