Fashion Police will continue without Joan Rivers

Fashion Police set to continue without Joan Rivers

It has been revealed that a new season of the E! style series, which the late comedienne was host for four years until her death earlier this month, will kick off in January.
The new series of Fashion Police, which is produced by Joan's daughter Melissa Rivers, is expected to feature long-time co-hosts Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulos, as well as a new sharp-tongued fashion critic.
After much speculation, a spokesperson revealed the news in a statement which read: ''We are deeply saddened by the loss of Joan Rivers and, for the last two weeks, have turned our attention to honouring her memory on all of our platforms. We have also thought long and hard about what Joan would have wanted as it pertains to the future ofFashion Police.

''We decided, with Melissa Rivers' blessing, that Joan would have wanted the franchise to continue. Fashion Police will return in 2015 commencing with Golden Globes coverage on Monday, January 12. No further details will be announced at this time.''
E! News anchor Giuliana recently admitted she wasn't sure whether the show would go on without Joan.
She said: ''They are looking at different scenarios.
''A lot of that will be up to [Melissa] and how she's feeling and how she decides what she wants to do, along with the execs here at E! There is no word now - they are seeing what Fashion Police looks like without Joan.''
Joan passed away on September 4, a week after she stopped breathing during throat surgery.
