The first full trailer for the upcoming blockbuster “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1″ has now debuted, and we finally get to see the Mockingjay, aka Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), go to war.
We also get to see Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth), Haymitch Abernathy (Woody Harrelson), Plutarch Heavensbee (the late Philip Seymour Hoffman), Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks), President Snow (Donald Sutherland) and President Coin (Julianne Moore) get caught up in Districts’ revolution against the Capitol in Panem.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1″ is directed by “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” helmer Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has more than 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.
